Here you will find my work as a session player, bassist, and emerging producer, along with recordings, collaborations, press coverage, and ways to support my career.
My mission is to blend cultures and musical styles, bringing groove, musicality, and energy to every project. From Honduras to the world.
Ludwig Izaguirre is a Honduran bassist currently pursuing a double major in Performance and Independent Recording at Berklee College of Music. His versatility as a session player allows him to adapt to a wide range of styles, including Latin jazz, straight-ahead jazz, Brazilian music, pop, rock en español, and urban genres.
He has performed at the Detroit Jazz Festival, Boston Calling, and several Latin music festivals. He won first place with Srisley Trio at the Charleston Competition and has performed at stages such as Boston’s Uncommon Stage as well as in multiple venues and recitals.
His musical journey began in Honduras, where he graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Música and stood out as a performer in graduation recitals at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH), even while still in high school.
In 2024, he led the organization and execution of a historic project in Honduras, bringing Berklee College of Music representation to the country for the first time. The event included masterclasses, concerts, and cultural exchange activities, making a lasting impact on local students and musicians.
In 2025, he became the first Honduran recipient of the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation Scholarship, a recognition that drives him to continue representing his country on international stages and further developing his career as a performer, producer, and music educator.
Beyond his artistic work, Ludwig has also worked in audio and video production, contributing to recordings, mixing, and audiovisual projects for artists and academic initiatives.

Throughout my career, I have participated in various recordings as an electric bassist, collaborating with artists from different genres and backgrounds.
In this section, you will find all the productions I have recorded on that are publicly available. Each project reflects my commitment to delivering the best sound, groove, and musicality each style deserves.
I am available to participate in recordings both remotely and in person. My experience covers a variety of styles and formats, and I can adapt to the specific needs of your project on electric bass.
